The False Rapture

Why do Churches teach the rapture?

Because in 1830, a woman named Margaret McDonald had a dream about the rapture, and two men, Darby and Newton, took the new revelation of this “rapture theory” across America, teaching the people that this verse below describes the rapture:

(1 Thessalonians 4:17, KJV 1900)

“Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.”

The word Rapture is NOT THERE in the Scripture verse. It is only found in the LATIN VULGATE translation. Rapture is from the Latin Word from “rapiemur/raptura”, which means “to violently drag off to rape”. As grotesque as the imagery is, preachers insisted this translation was accurate for the original Greek word “harpazo” for “caught up”. This is why we research the MANUSCRIPTS and use the Strong’s concordance for definitions, not man’s interpretations.

Margaret McDonald - the woman who had the vision of the rapture in 1830.

The word in the Latin Vulgate RAPIEMUR is where RAPTURE originates

Afterwards, the doctrine spread like wildfire to churches everywhere. People were believing these pastors and this new translation, without questioning where it came from (the Latin Vulgate), and whether it was accurate to the original manuscripts. This was never taught by the early churches from the first century up until the 19th century. This was a dream by a woman who was overcome with darkness “and error” (her words as it is stated in the book “The Incredible Cover-up” by Dave MacPherson).

This message became popular amongst churches, they realized it was easy to tell the people that when Jesus gets here that all they have to do is fly away, but it skips the critical teaching of the 5th, 6th, and 7th trump where it is mentioned by the apostle Paul in 1 Corinthians 15:52 that the change of body takes place “at the LAST trump”, the 7th trump!

(1 Corinthians 15:52, KJV 1900)

“In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.”

Hence, the teaching of the rapture is a falling away from the gospel of Jesus Christ because it teaches that Jesus will arrive to earth before any of the trumps are even sounded! This is contrary to the teaching of Paul that the true Christ arrives in the LAST Trump!

It is also contrary to the teaching in Revelation, that antichrist will arrive before the LAST trump, at the 6th trump. (See critical study 5 months of Revelation 9).

If the rapture doctrine were true, then you would not see the arrival of antichrist; therefore, it is contrary to the teaching of Jesus Christ that teaches we will SEE the antichrist arrive on Earth when he is cast to the Earth.

(Matthew 24:15)

“When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso readeth, let him understand:)”

And if they are expecting a supernatural “rapture” event instead, then they will bow down in worship to the wrong Messiah, the antichrist himself, at the 6th trump, just one trump before the 7th trump when the true Christ arrives, therefore the rapture teaching is the great apostasy from the gospel Christ taught.

“Air” and “Clouds” in 1 Thessalonians 4:17, the verse that the rapture heavily leans on to defend it, but the words are not simply literal translations, but figurative as understood in colloquial Greek.

NOTE: 1 Thessalonians 4:17 mentions “air” and “clouds” which are defined in the Greek as the breath of life body for air the Greek meaning “breath” see the Strongs concordance # 109.

“Cloud” being a figure of speech, where all those of faith are gathered together like in Hebrews 12:1.

(Hebrews 12:1, KJV 1900)

“Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,”

In the prophets, we also see Ezekiel teaching against those who prophesy out of their own heart to “hunt the souls to MAKE THEM FLY”.

(Ezekiel 13:16–23, KJV 1900)

“16 To wit, the prophets of Israel which prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and which see visions of peace for her, and there is no peace, saith the Lord GOD.

17 Likewise, thou son of man, set thy face against the daughters of thy people, which prophesy out of their own heart; and prophesy thou against them,

18 And say, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe to the women that sew pillows to all armholes, and make kerchiefs upon the head of every stature to hunt souls! Will ye hunt the souls of my people, and will ye save the souls alive that come unto you?

19 And will ye pollute me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to slay the souls that should not die, and to save the souls alive that should not live, by your lying to my people that hear your lies?

20 Wherefore thus saith the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against your pillows, wherewith ye there hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your arms, and will let the souls go, even the souls that ye hunt to make them fly.

21 Your kerchiefs also will I tear, and deliver my people out of your hand, and they shall be no more in your hand to be hunted; and ye shall know that I am the LORD.

22 Because with lies ye have made the heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, by promising him life:

23 Therefore ye shall see no more vanity, nor divine divinations: for I will deliver my people out of your hand: and ye shall know that I am the LORD.”
